USER EXPERIENCE Designer

The ultimate content and social media marketing tool. This software service helps their clients to create and share better performing content. I put most effort in identifying our user’s pain points by conducting research, e.g. usability tests and interviews. Once done, I’m also responsible to create crisp user interfaces fitting to the user needs.

Digital product designer

Helping our people in doing what they do best. That’s the slogan of the Digital Transformation department I was part of. We made several digital solutions to automate processes within the company. My main responsibility was creating and validating concepts that could be useful in the daily lives of a KLM employee.

USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER (INTERN)

For my graduation internship, I researched what extra value the KLM app (connected to the internet) could have for their customers while flying. I’ve been talking to many stakeholders and real customers at the airport who were waiting for their flight. It was a great experience to find out what it was like to be part of such large company. 

DIGITAL DESIGNER

A small web design agency in Eindhoven, where I started as a student. This was my start in creating websites. Here, I mainly filled my days with designing responsive websites and developing the front-end.

Education 🎓

Old school barbering class

Started off as a hobby by visiting nice barbershops. Then I got interested in the techniques and such, but later found out it had a lot to do with design too. Listening to the customer’s wishes, more talking during the process and leaving them satisfied with a good haircut. Honestly, it’s a little design project!

ICT & Media Design (cum laude)

I followed this study for four years in Eindhoven and accomplished it with great success. It was a great experience and challenge because of its diversity. Here, I found passion for UX and therefore focused on how to conduct proper research, identifying user needs combined with creating fitting concepts.

Minor — Human Centered Design

A deeper dive into the Design Thinking process. The minor was mainly focused on user research techniques and mapping out user pain points. This course made sure I wanted to become an expert in user experience design.

The feature “Report” in Coosto gives users the ability to create their own dashboards to visualise their social media stats. 

The ground staff used to physically print their planning and stick it on their fridge. We changed this by creating a tool to view their roster.
